We have recently told you that moderate exercise reduces the risk of having a stroke. Here is something about exercise that was recently reported. A study in a well respected medical journal looked at almost 1,000 people who had been hospitalized with a stroke. Those who had been physically active (defined as walking at least four hours a week) were twice as likely to have had a mild (not severe) stroke than their inactive counterparts.
